This is a cross shaped pool in memory of those who died for religious freedom in Dublin.
Unusual and beautiful flower on the grounds of Woolen Mill in hills of Wicklow Mountains
Driving through the countryside in the south of Dublin. Trees grow together and form an arch where we drive.
This spot is called, "Where the rivers Meet" as two rivers converge at this point to form one river.

Glencree where the orphaned children of Germany lived following the 2nd World War until they could find their families. Many never did find their families and remained in Ireland.
This is St. Stephen's Green. Europe's biggest square. There are ducks in a lake, beautiful gardens, bands play from the bandstand and numerous monuments to many of Ireland's historical figures are found here.

Signs tell us which way to look before crossing the street since they drive on the wrong side of the road in Ireland, just as they do in England.

This is the huge millenium spire in the center of Dublin erected in 2003. It is 140 meters tall and the tallest standing structure of it's kind in Europe. We also saw many cathedrals but didn't post the pictures. Hope this gives a flare for what is in and around Dublin.

I love to read your blog and look at the pictures. It is great to keep up with what you are doing on your mission. Was this trip to Ireland just a special trip you went on? I would love to go see Ireland someday. You look very happy. We hope to see you when you are in Modesto.
